Sonny is looking over the wedding menus for Kate, when..."Good. You're here." Diane said walking in.
"What do you want?"
"What is your intentions with my best friend?"
"Excuse me."
"Are you planning on dumping Kate and being with her or was yesterday a one time thing?"
"I don't know. I like Alexis' idea of having a hot affair."
"So you're planning on marrying Kate and having an affair with Alexis."
"If she's willing. Yes."
"Do you love her, because obviously you don't love Kate, because if you did youwoulr have never slept with Alexis in the first place. Which is kind of weird, I meant I expeceted you to have an affair with Carly or some other random woman, but I never expected Alexis."
"Why not? We go further back then Carly and I."
"Don't dodge the question, Coringhnos. Do you love Alexis or is she a little flint?"
"What do you think?"
"I think you're going to break her heart. But at the same time, I know you care about her and if it became a choice between her life and yours I know you would risk your life to save hers. I can't say the same about Jerry. So if I have to choose between you and Jerry for her, I'll choose you."

"You still didn't answer my question."
"I don't want to talk about my feeling for Alexis. Not to you anyway."

"Because I don't need you going back and telling her everything I say."

"Look, Alexis and I are mature adults and what we do or don't do is our business." Alexis was about to walk it, but stop at hearing Sonny's words. "Not your's or anyone elses's. If we decded yesterday was a one time thing, then that what it will be, if we decided the hell with Jerry and Kate and get together, then we will do that, and if we decide to stat with Jerry and Kate and have a hot and steamy affair then we will do that ,too. But it's between me and Alexis. Not you Diane."
"Duely noted."
"Thank you."
"YOu know for Alexis' sake I won't tell Kate."
"Thank you, Diane." Alexis walks in. "I appreciate that." She walks over to her.
Diane continue. "And I want you both to know, that whatever you two decide I will support you either way."

"But if you decide to dump Kate and be with Alexis..Now I want both of you to hear me and hear me good, do no tell Kate I knew all along, ok. I don't want to lose the free chothes and shoes she gives me or let me borrow."
"Ah, let's just call it a one time thing Sonny, I don't want to lose that privelige either."
"Don't worry. I let you borrow what she gives me." Diane said.
"Good to know that neither of you are Kate's friends, but just using her for high fashion." Sonny said.
"Ah, you're not going to tell her, are you?" Diane asked.

"Good. " She walks toward the door. "Bye." She leaves.
Sonny looks at the menus Kate brought over again. "About yesterday, last night, this morning, uhmmm...."
"Are you planning on telling Jerry?"
"No. Are you planning on telling Kate?"
"Has you lose your mind. Hell, no."
"Carly? Jason? Anyone?"
"Alexis what happen between us is between us, no one else? So to answer your questions. No. NO. NO. Now are you planning on telling anyone, other then Diane?"
"No. I agree with you, it was just between us and it should stay that way."

"Ah, Well, bye." She turns to leave.
"Alexis." She stops. "Can you do me a favor and ..." He looks at two menus in his hand. "...help me decide what to have serve at our wedding reception."
Alexis walks over and look at the menus. "Kate really enjoying this wedding planning thing isn't she."
"Yes. Between the dresses, guest list, seating, menus, banquets, etc, etc. She's is driving me crazy. And the bad part about it, she wants me to have an opinion and the truth of the matter is I don't care a damn. Why don't we just eloped and get it over with I say. The hell with a wedding. I mean was you this crazy planning your wedding with Ned."
"I didn't plan my wedding, Carly did. And I agree with you." She picks up two more menus. "Love should be something private and scared between the two people in love. It shouldn't be boost or talk about. You should have to tell the world how much you love someone, the world should be able to see it. I mean if they can't, without the glamour and hype, then maybe it's not love afterall."
"Is that why you ran out on your wedding to Ned?"
"Yes. Ned was a rock star. Which is fine with him but all wrong for me. I don't like publicity. I don't like the media and cameras and I don't like the whole world in my relationships. It bad enough having to deal with all of Port Charles, I don't want have to deal with the rest of the world either. And I'm not ashame of Jerry and all but he likes publicity he want the whole world to know we're together, and I can't help but to think is it really because he that's much into me, or because he thinks that he could get away with murder because I'm the DA and he's dating me."
"Yeah, I think the same thing with Kate. I mean I can't help but wonder is she really in love with me, or the idea of having a fairy tale wedding."
"I don't even know why I'm telling you this. I mean you always been one for showing off your flavor of the week or saying how much you love them and how they mean the world to you, to all the world."
"That's because that what they wanted. For some reason women seem to feel more secure if a man let the world knows she's his." He moves in closer to her. "But if I had my way. I will just enjoy the moment." He kisses her. And Alexis kisses him back. They was on top of the bar, when Max walks in. He sees them and immediately walks back out. Then Sonny pulls away. Alexis smiles. "Like that huh."
"Yeah, pretty much." He took her hand and walks over to the couch. "I don't know Alexis. I think back about all my relationships and I realizes the most exciting ones were the one no one or few people knew about. When Emily and I was sneaking around, being together behind everyone's backs. I mean it was fun, exciting, daring. And when that shooter came to our hotel room and our cover was blown , it just didn't feel the same anymore. But it wasn't as exciting ,but it wasn't boring either, because so many people were against it and when everyone said the hell with it and accepted it, it was boring."
"And you dump her."
"Pretty much. But the bottom line is, it wasn't what Emily wanted, she didn't like sneaking around she wanted everyone to know about us. And most women do."
"Ok, forget what most women want. Forget what Kate wants, what do you want Sonny?"

"Who do you want Carly? Claudia?"
"I want my children Alexis. I want Michael back to where he was and I want Morgan back minus Carly. I want a family, complete with wife and kids. But I don't want Kate and I don't want anymore children."

"I don't have anyone in mind."

"I'm just saying. So if you don't married Kate and married someone else, how are you going to avoid not having children, unless you married someone who alreaady had your children and you don't want Carly, so that leaves..." Alexis paused. "Oh, my god, you don't want to marry me do ya?"

"Look, are you going to help me with these menus or what?"
"Ok, anything on either one of these menus is fine for Kate's friends, but what about yours?"
"Alexis I don't have any friends."
"Ah, Harmonia Arches. Blocked parties. Bensonherst. Rent parties. Hello."
"Ok, those are people on the other side of the tracks in the projects, they aren't Kate type of people."
"Sonny, we're not talking hoodlums, drug dealers, pimps, prostitutes and junkies, even through me and you both have friends in those line, but we're talking about hard working, lower middle class people. They are good, law biding citizens what's wrong with invited them to the wedding."
"So you think I should change the menus all together?"
"No, I think you should let Kate pick out what her friends would want from one of these menus, and you pick out what your friends would want. If it was me and I was planning a wedding, it will be a little cermony on the beach around sun set with all my friends and family. No matter how dsyfunctional they are. I will be wearing a sundress, my hair with be up with flowers in them, my groom with be wearing a shirt sleave, light weight dress shirt and black dress pants, rolled up a little above his ankles so the water won't hit his pants' legs and neither one of us would be wearing any shoes. Then 3 hours later we will have a cook out somewhere where they have a pool and a jazzacui just for me and my groom. Complete with ribs, burgers, hot dogs, steaks, pototoe salad, mac and cheese, pasta salad, and a chef salad, corn on the corn and a few other things, oh, of course champagne. That would give everyone time to go home, relax a little and change into something comfortable grabbing their bathsuits and towels and coming to the reception."
"Ok, and exactly what is you and your husband will be doing in that three hours time."
"Making love on the beach in the moonlight."
Sonny grins. "Sounds like my kind of girl."
"Hey, I know what you can have?'
"What?"
"Mac and cheese and fish sticks."
Sonny laughs. "Yeah, right."
"Hey, I have grown quite accustom to mac n cheese and fish sticks."
"Ok, but adults don't want that."
"So why not have a kids' menu, with fish sticks, mac n cheese, pizza, hamburger, hot dog, and french fries."
"And for my friends what do you suggest, fried chicken, pototoe salad, chitterlings, mac and cheese, ribs, bar-be-cue, etc."
"Yeah, why not? I mean Kristina and other children her age or younger, some older would never eat anything on this menu. And you don't want them to waste food, so why not get something they like and would eat. And me, well, I never then like rich people food, I just ate it because while with the exception of you, it's usually people's presception of me, so men always take me to these expensive, fancy restuarants, when I will be fine at an all you can eat place, or average dining."
"You know you're turning my wedding into something tacky."
"You don't have to have the cook out, just have a choice in menus instead on one main thing."
"I'll run it by Kate and see what she'll say."
"Great. I have to go."
"Ah, Alexis." She stops and looks at him. "There is a rent party tonight at 7. Do you want to come?"
"You're not going to take Kate."
"It's at Bensonherson."

"Sure, why not? Can I invited Diane?"
"Diane wouldn't be interested in a block party."
"The hell she would, this is a woman who loves bikers' bars, believe she's will have no problem at a block party."
"Ok, I'll tell Max about it and they can come together."
