Ok although I have been reading Cassadine fan fiction forever. This is my very first attempt. So please be kind and I hope you all enjoy.
This story goes back to the time of Stefan and Katherine's engagement, Carly is in
Shadybrook for shooting Tony and Bobbie is still furious with Luke for telling her that her daughter was dead. As the story goes on I will be changing some
history from long long ago.
Chapter 1
"You are cordially invited to attend the bacchanalia ball honoring the upcoming wedding of Stefan Darius Mikkosovich Cassadine to Katherine Lynn Bell" it was all she had to read before throwing the invitation on the antique cherry desk along with the rest of the mail. Great she thought to herself just great. After several grueling hours up to my elbows in blood and guts surgery after surgery I come home to find out my lying cheating good for nothing ex-husband is on his way to living happily ever after while I. Before she could even finish her thought the phone rang bringing her back to her own reality.
"Hello, Yes this is Barbara Spencer." Her hand tightened around the phone unconsciously. "What? What do you mean she took a turn for the worse? Are you sure? I was just there to visit her yesterday and she seemed fine a little frightened but she was definitely getting better." Tears streamed down her face. "Yes, I am on my way."

"Oh Stefan I just heard from quiet a few of my friends that our invitations were delivered to them today." Katherine said as she beamed from ear to ear.
"Yes Katherine, Alexis informed me she received her invitation as well." Stefan stated formally as he smiled at the woman he planned to spend the rest of his life with.
As Katherine walked up to stand in front of Stefan she reached up and stroked his cheek gently and whispered to him "After everything we have been through our wildest dreams are finally going to come true, aren't they Mr. Cassadine?"
Stefan slipped his arms around Katherine's waste as he slowly and softly kissed her neck he whispered back "I promise every wild dream you can imagine will be yours for the taking."
"Oh Stefan don't you know you are my wildest dream." Katherine giggled as Stefan led her up the long marble staircase to the master bedroom.

In another part of the world a dark mysterious handsome man sat alone sipping a glass of port in a luxurious suite in one of the finest hotels in Europe. As he waited for the reports he requested on those he loved and those he loathed he let his mind drift back over twenty years to a time when he was free. Free of the tragedy that has become his life a time when the world belonged to him, a time when she belonged to him.
The past
"You know Mikkos you have really out done yourself this time. Just when I think you've found the most beautiful woman in the world, you prove me wrong and in walk even more beauties." A very drunk Victor tells his older brother.
"Yes, I must say I have done well. These ladies are even more lovely than the ones at last years party there is no doubt." Mikkos responds sourly.
"Come now brother, You said yourself you have done well, the ladies are perfect, the location is perfect, your boys are safely tucked away for the evening and we have a whole week to do nothing but drink and be merry. So what is the problem?" Victor asks annoyed at his brother's foul mood.
"The problem little brother is the vivacious young red head talking with Tony in the corner." Mikkos responded coldly.
"Well I am sure if you told Tony you already claimed her for yourself he would move on or wait patiently. After all you are the CASSADINE." Victor said as he turned to look at the young woman that had caught his brother's eye.
"I have NOT claimed her for myself" Mikkos snapped sharply at his crude younger brother. "She is but a child. She could not be much older than my own Natasha. I did not pay to have a child brought to this island to be handled by so many."
"Yes, well if you are planning on putting a stop to it you should do that now before she is truly claimed." Victor warned.
With that Mikkos walked over to the young beauty that had reminded him so much of his own princess and whispered something in her ear.
He listened to the conversation his father had with his uncle with much interest, but was unable to hear what was whispered into the girl's ear. It is true his father would be upset if he found out he had snuck out of his suite to spy on the party, A party that in a year he would be old enough to attend, A party that all Cassadine men attended when they are of age.
As he watched his father lead the young beauty out of the party much to the disappointment of many, he couldn't help but be drawn into those big brown eyes and that long auburn hair that flowed as she walked. And the way she walked. He had never seen anything so breath taking in his life. He had to have her. He would have her. He was the Prince after all.
Stavros trailed behind his father and the red head at a slight distance so not to be seen. His father had led her to a beautiful cottage on the island away from the main house and close to the ocean. There he explained to her that her services would not be needed for the week but the boat was not due back to pick up the guests for several days. He told her she would be well cared for and be paid the money she was promised but he would not take part in child prostitution. The young girl was speechless and just nodded at the intimidating but kind older gentlemen. With that Mikkos walked back to the party and left the girl to her own paradise.
She walked into the cottage and was taken aback it was the most beautiful place she had ever been, aside from the main house she had just come from. The cottage was full of windows and she had the most beautiful view of the ocean on one side and of cliffs on the other. She took a deep breath and decided she could stay here forever. If only. She was so captivated by exploring the different rooms one more intoxicating than the next that she didn't notice she wasn't alone anymore. She walked into the master bedroom of the cottage and her breath was completely taken away. She thought she died and gone to heaven. She was so excited she started singing and dancing, she danced her way right onto the king sized bed and began jumping up and down on it, like she didn't have a care in the world. It wasn't until she started to jump in circles that she noticed him. She froze in place as she watched him stare at her she wasn't sure if the stare was a stare of amusement or a stare of judgment. So she put up her usual armor and opted a stare of judgment.
"Please do not stop on my account." Stavros said to her in an amused voice.
"Oh I didn't stop on your account. I stopped because I was finished." Bobbie said as if she were bored.
"Yes well I am sure." Stavros said snobbishly.
"Look who are you? And what are you doing here? The guy who owns this island said that I would be staying here by myself, and I would not have to worry about anyone. He said I would be taken care of."
At that moment Stavros had decided he would make his move. He would take the first step in making her his own. "My name is SC my friends just call me SC. The guy you were talking about the guy who owns this island. He sent me down here to take care of you for the week. Your wish is my command, my lady."
"SC? What does SC stand for?" Bobbie asked sheepishly a little embarrassed by her outburst.
"It does not stand for anything. It is just my name." Stavros lied. Why he didn't want her to know he was the man who owned this island and everything and everyone on it or at least he would one day, he wasn't sure why he didn't want her to know. His gut just told him he stood a much better chance if she didn't know. Not yet anyway. "And you are?"
"Barbara Jean Spencer, my friends just call me Bobbie." She teased with a shy smile.
"Bobbie it is." Stavros said confidently.
The Present
As quickly as he fell into his memory, Stavros was pulled from it by the sound of knocking at the door of his hotel suite.
"Yes, who is it?" he commanded
"Sir it is I Ari. I have the reports you have requested."
Stavros rushed to the door, "Well old friend do not leave me in suspense. What do they say?"
"Everything is about the same as before. Your brother is still planning on marrying Ms. Bell; they have set the date for their ball to be held Friday. And I am so sorry to say your daughter has not been released from that hideous institution. But I have our best men on it. As far as your mother and Luke Spencer, well they are still going rounds trying to outdo each other."
"And Bobbie? Any change since your last report? Any gentlemen callers?" Stavros asked hopeful but unsure if he was ready for the answer?
"No. No change. She is still not seeing anyone, I must say she spends every minute she is not at work or tending to her son with either your daughter or your grandson." Ari paused and Stavros new there was more. "Sir I have our most reliable man on her, I um well sir Gastav said she walks on the pier every evening with a picture of Miss Caroline, and prays and cries. She is very upset and looking very tired."
Stavros felt the lump in his throat and his heart began to ach for the woman he has loved a lifetime, and the child they share who must herself be frightened and yet again feeling abandoned. "This is unacceptable, I will move forward with my plans ahead of schedule."
"Are you sure all will be ready my prince" Ari asked.
"We will make sure of it. Tell everyone there will be no rest until Friday." Stavros demanded.
"Yes, of course sir, but Friday is your brothers engagement ball?" Ari questioned
"And what better gift could I give my brother than my blessing on his joyful union to that insipid woman?" Stavros grinned.
